I was walking around Northland Mall when I heard somebody call my name. I turned around to see who it was, and it was this nigga Tim I use to date.

“What’s up?” I asked him when he got closer to me.

“Shit, I’m trying to see what’s up with yo fine ass.” Tim said as he pulled me into a hug. I couldn’t lie, he smelled so good and it turned me on.

“Ain’t nothing. But I miss you.” I said.

“I miss you more girl, you know I was in love with yo ass until you broke my heart.” He said smiling, but I knew he was serious.

“I did not break yo heart.” I said laughing.

“Yes you did ma. I was gone ask you to marry me until you just upped and said you wasn’t happy.” He said, and that was true, I wasn’t happy. I broke things off with him two weeks after I fucked Gee and Chris. I wanted to be happy with one of them.

“You know I’m sorry about that, but I wasn’t happy. You were always too busy with the game and didn’t realize I was at home waiting on you.” I said.

“I’m sorry about that ma, but look. I gotta get my mama this dress before she miss Bingo, I gotta tell her I ran into you. But do you want to do dinner or something tonight?” He asked me.

“I would, but I’m doing dinner with Katt and Leese, we can do a night cap though.” I said smiling.

“Okay, we can do that. Put your number in my phone.” He said. We both pulled our phones out. I dialed my number from his phone so I could have his number too. I then walked through the mall so I could shop. I was in Victoria’s Secret when my phone rang. It was Je’leese.

“Wassup?” I asked her.

“Hey Dai, where are you?” She asked, and it sounded like she had been crying.

“I’m at the mall. Why, what’s up?” I asked.

“I was just asking so are we still on for tonight?”

“Yeah, I got a taste for some Sweetwater, so y’all down?” I asked her.

“Yeah, what time?”

“Um, say around seven. I got a date with Tim around nine.” I told her.

“Aw snap, y’all back talking?” She asked.

“I just ran into him at the mall and he asked me did I want to do something later tonight.” I said.

“Well, let me get off this phone and get ready. I’ll see you in a few.” She said.

“Okay.” I said hanging up the phone. I looked at the time and realized it was already five thirty. After I got what I wanted from the mall, I left and headed back to the apartment so I could get dressed. Once I was dressed, I packed an overnight bag because I was more than likely going to spend the night out with Tim.
